Platform Rules & Guidelines
How OutRank works: transparent placement, verified bids, strict creator ownership, and fair discovery.
01. Content Ownership
Creators may only submit and bid on content that they themselves own or have legal authorization to represent. Submitting URLs belonging to other creators to manipulate their bids or claim false attribution is strictly prohibited. OutRank links each submitted URL to exactly one creator account with verified channel and handle associations.
02. Bidding Model
Every bid on OutRank represents a real verified financial transaction. Users cannot simply enter an arbitrary bid number. To reach #1, a creator must pay the calculated claim amount. When a creator increases a bid on their existing active listing, they are only charged the incremental difference.
03. Active Promotion
An active promotion occupies a real-time rank on the main leaderboard determined strictly by its verified active bid amount. Higher bids earn higher positions. All rankings are calculated server-side with zero frontend manipulation.
04. Seven-Day Expiration
Every promotion is active for exactly 7 days (168 hours) from creation. Once 7 days elapse, the listing automatically leaves the active leaderboard and no longer holds an active rank. However, the promotion remains permanently stored in historical analytics, and the user's cumulative lifetime spending rank is never reduced.
05. Lifetime User Ranking
The Lifetime User Ranking (Top Supporters) measures the cumulative verified spend of each creator across all promotions over all time. Even when individual promotions expire, the user's lifetime total remains untouched and will increase as new promotions or bid boosts are completed.
06. Today's Ranking
Today's ranking measures verified spending activity during the current 24-hour daily cycle. It provides an immediate reflection of current momentum and resets at the end of each daily period. It is entirely separate from both the lifetime user rank and the active bid leaderboard.
07. Payments & Verification
OutRank integrates with trusted payment infrastructure (including Razorpay for Indian Rupees). We never store raw card numbers. Payments are confirmed via server signatures before atomic database ledger entries are recorded.
08. Clicks and Redirects
When visitors click content on OutRank, the OutRank click tracker registers the visit and immediately redirects the user to the original Instagram Reel/Post or YouTube Video/Short. We do not use intrusive interstitial ads or delay redirects.
09. Supported Content Formats
OutRank supports Instagram Reels, Instagram Posts, YouTube Videos, and YouTube Shorts. Content may be categorized under All, Tech, Music, or General. URLs must be public and accessible.
10. Prohibited Content
The following content will be immediately suspended without refund: hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit or non-consensual material, scams, copyright infringement, malicious software, and illegal goods.
11. Refunds and Cancellations
Because placement on OutRank is delivered instantly in real time upon payment confirmation, verified bids are non-refundable once activated. If a listing is removed for violating platform rules, no refund will be issued.
12. Platform Limitations & Disclaimers
OutRank does NOT sell, guarantee, or artificially generate third-party platform views, subscribers, comments, or likes. OutRank sells placement and exposure on the OutRank discovery leaderboard. Third-party platforms (Instagram and YouTube) independently govern and report their own analytics.
